'Vintage love' card created using Spellbinders M-bossabilities Delightful Daisies TUTORIAL

Hello everybody!!! Thanks for stopping by and looking at my blog. Today I chose the tutorial of simple but very elegant card.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Centura Peals White Card stock for card base.
  • Pastel green Centura Pearl card for mane embossed image.
  • Brownish colour backing paper.
  • Burnt sienna panpastels for coloring in base card. as well you will need blue and brown colours.
  • Spellbinders M-bossabilities Delightful Daisies
  • Gorgeous JustRight clear stamps set 'Lace Medallion Labels'.
  • Cosmic shimmer dry clear glue.

LET'S GET STARTED

1. Score A4  Centura Peals White Card in the middle and fold it. Use Burned sienna Panpastel to colour it.
2. Green card run through machine you got (Grand Calibur, Joy Trouvaille etc) with Spellbinders M-bossabilities Delightful Daisies. Trim the sides.
3. Repeat process with white card on label, butterfly and main flower. Cut them out.
4. Apply Burned sienna on main image and in the middle of flower, you cut out, gradually moving to brown colour. Do the same with butterfly. firstly apply brown, after blue colours.
5. Stamp sentiment on cut out label with distressed ink (any brown shade) and gently apply brown panpastels over the top.
6. Cut out backing paper a bit bigger than main image.
7. Glue backing paper to the main card.
8. Glue main image to the backing paper.
9. Use foam pads or silicon glue to fix cut out images to the main image to create 3D effect.

Tips for project:
  • if you do not like panpastels colour you can get rid if it with eraser. And reapply another one over the top.
  • use dry clear glue for the project to avoid unwanted marks when it dries. I used Cosmic shimmer dry clear glue.

HAPPY CRAFTING. PLEASE LEAVE COMMENT WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS PROJECT.
